If you could travel into any musical time or place, where would you go and why?

I love vintage music, so it would have to be Etta James- Something’s Got a Hold of Me, from the 60’s, love music from the 50’s and 60’s, the style and sound.

If you could invite 5 people to dinner (present or past) who would they be?

Tori Kelly, Sam Smith, Taylor Swift, Colbie Caillat and Ryan Tedder from One Republic

Do you have any hidden talents, hobbies or interests?

I swim at high school, love photography & fashion.

What is your favorite highlight/moment in your music career thus far?

Meeting Colbie Caillat at NAMM and hearing her speak on the music industry, and behind her own music.

What’s your favorite part of performing?

Meeting new people wherever I go, and gaining experience.

What’s your ‘go to’ shower song?

Hard to admit, but anything Justin Bieber.

What message do you want to share through your music?

I pour out my heart into my lyrics of what I go through in my daily life, what I observe, what I feel, what I experience, good and bad; so I hope to connect with others through my music. Being only 15 and in high school, it is hard to know where you fit in, and also stay true to who you are, so I hope through my music, I can help and inspire others in a small way.

What would you say to someone going through a rough time?

Any obstacles or trials you might face, to know that you are not alone and everything happens for a reason.

If you had only 5 minutes to perform one song that could leave a great impact on the world today, what song would you perform and why?

I would perform my original song Paper Airplane. I wrote the song from a bullying experience at school, and I would want to share the message behind the lyrics, that you CAN change your place, your thoughts, your response, your actions, move beyond the hurt and discouragement, and soar above the negative.
