Seattle’s Mayor Proclaims October 17th Free2Luv ROCK KINDNESS Day!

BREAKING NEWS! Mayor Ed Murray proclaims October 17th Free2Luv ROCK KINDNESS Day and invites the community to be advocates for kindness! We are so honored to stand with the City of Seattle to create a safe and kind environment where youth feel safe, celebrated and empowered.

To mobilize the community around bullying prevention, Free2Luv has teamed up with Taco Time NW and Clear Channel Outdoor to ROCK KINDNESS.

FRIENDS DON’T LET FRIENDS BULLY billboards have hit the highways featuring Youth Advocates actor Jason Drucker and musician Maddy Vance, inviting the community to #TakeThePledge.

Taco Time NW has created a kindness themed bag for their kids’ meals reaching hundreds of thousands of Pacific NW families and fostering conversations around kindness and the kindness pledge.

On October 17th, we’re rolling out the red carpet for a VIP ROCK KINDNESS Empowerment Day for underserved youth, bringing them together to spread kindness, raise awareness of the bullying epidemic and foster the well being of the youth in our community. Event festivities include an interactive art project, “Make Your Own Taco” bar hosted by Taco Time, visit from Mayor Ed Murray leading the group in taking Free2Luv’s Kindness Pledge, Free2Luv empowerment cupcakes compliments of Trophy Cupcakes and an inspirational concert by Maddy Vance.
